The children had some great ideas of their own and we learned lots too.
We have been testing our reasoning skills this week in maths. We were given the challenge to build a 3D cuboid which matched all of the 2D views we were given. It was harder than it looked, but the children worked with great resilience!

This week we have been lucky enough to start our baseball sessions with Baseball Softball UK. See more photos in the gallery below.
Class 6S arrived into school first thing on Monday morning faced with a critical dilemma - their chairs had marched off, unhappy with their working conditions. The children were all shocked and only left with letters from the disgruntled chairs, explaining why they had gone.
It was then up to them to think of persuasive ways to get their chairs back and letters were written, full of persuasive features, to explain how much the chairs actually do mean to each and every one of the children. The outcome...look below and see:
Happy class, happy chairs!
Tasting French food
In our French lesson this week, we tried some different French foods. We practised our French speaking when asking for the foods we wanted.
