The children have loved making their bird feeders this afternoon. We are hoping they will encourage some birds to visit our outdoor area.

Have a look at the news items below to see the photos.

The children are super excited to do the RSPB Great British Bird Watch this week, maybe you could have a go at home this weekend?

Have a look at the photos of the ice decorations in the gallery. We had great fun making them and talking about what we thought would happen to them. We had to put some of them in the freezer as they didn't freeze outside. We hadn't predicted that would happen!

The children were amazing in their Christmas performance this morning, I was so proud of them. Thank you for all of your support.

This afternoon we carried on the Christmas theme with our first go at Christmas baking with Mrs Tatham. The children were so good following the instructions to make their Christmas tree cookies.

Have a look at the gallery to see some photos. I hope they tasted as good as they looked!

The children had a super time today on their leaf hunt.

Thank you so much to the junior helpers and Mr Moulton for organising it. Thank you for all of the sponors too. Have a look at the gallery to see what we got up to. We even used the leaves in our maths lesson this afternoon!

Many thanks for the EExAT observations you have been sending in from home. Here are some ideas of things to look out for :

  • playing a game where they have to take turns.
  • telling you which colour they are feeling (green, red, blue or yellow) and why.
  • mark making using any material or media.
  • counting objects, sorting objects eg leaves by colour or size.
  • a new achievement, eg swimming without arm bands or trying something new for the first time.
  • being kind to somone.

Your observations from home form a huge part of our understanding of your child and these observations are really valubale to us. Please keep sending them in.
