Lesson: Art and design

On Friday we talked about art composition and how artists can use a range of objects in still life art work to make it interesting. How they put these pieces together can help the art work flow. The children were given a selection of fruit and vegetables and a book. They were asked to create a group composition.

After putting their compostion together, it was time to sketch!!!!!

They then had to use all their knowledge of the work we have covered on secondary colours, shades and tints to paint their sketch.

I think they will look amazing when they are finished!
