Lesson: Physical Development

Nursery enjoyed a change to our usual routine when Lewis Daly, a British water polo player came to visit us!

We went to the hall with the Reception classes and joined Lewis as he did some fun exercises with us, Casper even got to go on stage and help show the children what to do!

In the afternoon we went back to the hall to do some more exercises and games with Miss Lannon. When we got back to nursery we talked about what we had done, how it was important to do exercise and thought about what we could set up outside to help us keep fit. The children had great ideas about jumping, balancing weaving in and out of the cones, hopping and running and worked together to set up a circuit outside.
