Y5 trip to Jodrell Bank

Our Year 5 pupils had a fantastic day at Jodrell Bank, supporting their Science learning on 'Earth and Space'. They discovered more about our Solar system, the Moon, and day + night in the Space Dome, alongside interesting facts about the stars and constellations. They also learnt about the history of Jodrell Bank as well as the science behind radio telescopes, black holes, etc, etc! The children were fantastic ambassadors for our school, listening well and asking thoughtful questions as well as engaging in all the activities with gusto! A great day out!
