Growing - The Very Hungry Caterpillar

We love the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar in nursery! We have read and talked about the story, acted it out with masks, leaves and food, used the small world area with mini props to act it out with our 'mini me's', painted and folded symmetrical butterflies and looked at symmetry in the mirrors with butterflies and even done some sorting with the caterpillar's food, into 'healthy' and 'unhealthy'!
