Welcome to Class 1JW!

Mrs Johnson will be teaching on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday afternoon and Friday.

Mrs Wilson will be teaching all day Wednesday and Thursday morning.

We are really excited to start our learning adventures with you. We will put lots of information on this page so keep checking back regularly.  If you scroll to the bottom of the page you will find important information for Year 1 in our 'Files to Download' section.

Our Classroom

At the beginning of the year, our classroom will look a lot like your classroom in Reception. We will have areas of provision that you will spend time learning in such as a Writing Area, Maths Area, Phonics Area, Construction Area, Block Area, Enquiry Area, Reading Area and Creative Area. 1JW routines:

• Reading books changed: Monday and Friday
• Library books changed: Every other Wednesday
• Reading racetrack books in: Friday (We will tell you all about this soon)
• PE days: Monday/Wednesday
• Spellings on Spelling Shed: Friday (We will tell you about this soon)
