1B English Dear Father Christmas

We read the book “Dear Father Christmas” by Alan Durant. It inspired us to write our own letter to Father Christmas. We started by looking at Holly’s letter to Father Christmas and highlighting her statements and questions. Then we wrote our own Christmassy facts. Next we thought of question words to start our questions and then had a go at writing some questions ourselves. Finally we put it all together and wrote our own letters.
